Sarah & Rob – Ellenborough Park wedding in Cheltenham
Here’s a little snippet of Sarah and Robs gorgeous day at the stunning Ellenborough Park Hotel in Cheltenham. The weather was extremely kind to us in the afternoon, giving us a whole hour or so of sunshine just as the new ‘Mr and Mrs’ stepped out of the ceremony. It was such a lovely day with only a small amount of guests making it a very intimate wedding. Sarah looked like a beautiful vintage hollywood movie star!! (by vintage I don’t mean old in age!!)
I really wish Rob and Sarah all the best in their adventures together.

Caroline & Andrew – Fawsley Hall Wedding in Daventry
This very lovely couple Andrew and Caroline are very good friends with one of my photography friends Steve Causon. I was extremely flattered when he recommended me for the job as he obviously wanted to be a guest, for a change.
I met up with Catherine in Northampton a couple of months before the big day to discuss times and venues over a nice cup of coffee, along with much more girlie wedding gossip about dresses’, hair styles, flowers… and so on!
We were very lucky with the weather on the day and were fortunate enough to have no rain at all until all of the outside shots were taken and then it came down by the bucket load- a special thank you to the weather man in Northamptonshire for helping us out

Lucy & Sammi – Children’s photo shoot in the Montpellier gardens, Cheltenham
This photo shoot took place in the Montpellier gardens in Cheltenham, early this April. We met at the lovely cafe in the centre of the gardens to begin with and had a coffee as this was the week that became particularly chilly after those glorious weeks in March. Sammi had a hot chocolate which soon became coated round his cheeky face, the perfect way to get to know one another!!
I’d spoken to Lucy a fair few times before the shoot, It really felt like I was photographing a friend.
Sammi and Lucy are truly lovely around one another. We played lots of games involving sticks, running races and hide and seek, it was a heavy workout!
I always make sure I keep a fair distance when I’m shooting because I really aim to capture natural, fun and relaxed shots and none of this cheesy old fashioned, posed photography. We all went on an adventure for the morning, which basically means I get to be a kid for a couple of hours with no one questioning it!!
Can I just also mention that I absolutely LOVE Lucy’s style, the pink coat worked so well with Mr Sammi looking super cool
Harvey – 12 days olds new born baby photoshoot
This is the first shoot of two i’m going to be doing for gorgeous baby Harvey at only 12 days old. The next shoot will be done from when he’s between 6 months and 1 year.
I’d always recommend doing new born photos as early as possible, definitely within the first 3 weeks. Babies grow so fast, the first few weeks are such a fantastic and unforgettable time that really has to be captured. I always make sure my clients can view there images no later than 2 weeks after the shoot. After every new born photo shoot the couple always comment that they can’t believe how much there little bundle has grown.
Meanwhile I’d like to wish Kirsty and Dan all the best for the further with their VERY HANDSOME and scrummy baby Harvey…… More of little Harvey to come over the next year. Watch this space

Kate & Mason – 1st Birthday
I thought I’d share with you the steps taken from november 2010 right up until january of this year 2012. Its so lovely to be involved in watching people and especially new born babies change and grow. From mum and bump, new born to Mason’s first birthday! How time flies through your first steps of parent hood.
Kate was absolutely stunning when pregnant although she thought otherwise, I beg to differ and I hope you agree. These images also looked pretty in colour but I fancied a little bit of monochrome on the blog.
Take a look through and all comments are appreciated
Marion & Tom- Winter wedding in Birmingham
A Very lovely December Winter Wedding in Birmingham. I met Marion a couple of times in Brindley place to have a coffee and a very good natter about wedding plans, and pretty much our life stories as we got on very well indeed. It was like catching up with an old friend.
Marion and Tom had a beautiful Catholic wedding ceremony at the Church of St Thomas More in Shelodon, Birmingham. This was followed by the wedding breakfast at Piccolinos in Brindley place, Birmingham city centre (one of my favourite restaurants in Birmingham so an excellent choice!)
They really wanted to have a ‘City adventure’ for a wedding and thats exactly what they had. The whole wedding party in the evening walked through the crazy lights of the German Market in parade to the Banqueting suite in Victoria Square ready to hit the dance floor.
Marion loves a very 50′s vintage style as do I so I wanted to create this through my editing. What a gorgeous day it was!
